Innovation Zero 2025 will run across 14 dedicated forums & theatres

As the UK's largest net-zero congress, it's our responsibility to curate the most engaging and topical content programme for our audience of 10,000+ stakeholders in the low carbon transformation.

We will delve deep into the challenges & opportunities present in key sectors, paying particular attention to the roles that innovation, technology, communication, enterprise, investment, infrastructure & policy play in the journey to zero.

NEW FOR 2025: we are excited to introduce dedicated forums on FMCG & Supply Chain, Infrastructure, and Nature, Land & Sea.

Main Stage

Main Stage

Join the keynote stage of Innovation Zero to hear national and international climate leaders share their vision of a net zero future, and their calls to action to fellow stakeholders. Critical conversations will illustrate a picture of the future low carbon economy and how policymakers, funders, corporates and innovators can galvanise collective climate-positive action.

Energy

Energy Forum

With the global energy sector accounting for around two-thirds of greenhouse gas emissions, transitioning away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy sources will be key to halving global emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2050.

With government and private sector commitments currently falling short of what is required to meet these targets and keep warming to below 1.5 degrees, our energy forum brings together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators and global financiers to discuss the challenges and opportunities to kickstarting the global green energy revolution.

Nature, Land & Sea

Nature, Land & Sea Forum

One of the most pressing challenges we face is mobilising the policy action and financial resources to halt and reverse the decline in the natural world, upon which our economic prosperity and social well-being depends.

Our two day Nature, Land & Sea Forum will focus on the climate and nature crises, with sessions exploring how collaboration between governments, corporates, financiers and innovators can drive the shift to sustainable food systems and a thriving blue economy. By accelerating collective action, we aim to secure a liveable planet for all, now and in the future.

Financial District

Finance Forum

The Finance Forum will demonstrate through best practice the investment community’s role in their transition, and explore their relationship with public policymakers and regulators in the financial transformation which underpins the net zero transition. As governments works internationally to mobilise private capital towards climate mitigation and adaptation, we ask how financiers can accelerate capital deployment. Meet with institutional investors and gain invaluable insights into scaling climate solutions.

Built Environment

Built Environment Forum

In a country with the oldest building stock in Europe, we host conversations with a mission to regenerate land and property for low carbon communities. Speakers across the built environment ecosystem will discuss how decarbonisation and resilience in urban areas can be achieved through collaboration, and how to scale innovation in design, construction, heating, and cooling. Attendees will meet, collaborate, and establish vital business partnerships to meet at speed the urgent call for new housing alongside the call to reach urgent net zero and biodiversity targets.

Aviation Forum

Aviation Forum

With the UK’s SAF mandate in effect as of January 2025, we ask the aviation experts how the industry intends to meet its emission targets, navigating the inherent challenges and opportunities in this sector. Discover how public and private entities are collaborating to incubate, scale and commercialise sustainable innovations, how airlines and airports collectively pioneer alternative fuels and develop the necessary infrastructure, and what industry leaders project for the years ahead.

Industrial

Industrial Forum

These sessions will demonstrate through best practice how the UK can actualise its industrial decarbonisation strategy while boost regional economies and its manufacturing output. Speaking to international counterparts, attendees can gain insights how this fits into a wider import/export strategy and the global market. Join fellow stakeholders across the value chain, including metals and mining, transportation and logistics, energy and fuels, and construction, to collectively overcome path dependencies and lead the transformational shift required to deliver a decarbonised industry.

Carbon Markets

Carbon Markets Forum

As we navigate the transition towards a low carbon economy, it is critical we make use of every tool available to accelerate this shift. Voluntary carbon markets (VCMs) are one such powerful mechanism, which if implemented correctly, can drive action and mobilise the necessary finance to reduce emissions, build resilience and support a just transition.

Join us for a series of discussions exploring the potential of VCMs to unlock meaningful climate action, and how concerns around market credibility are being addressed through innovative solutions.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure Forum

For key economic sectors to transition to renewable energy at the scale required to meet climate goals, the development of high quality, low carbon infrastructure is vital.

As we approach 2030, this forum will examine the key challenges facing government, industry and investors looking to drive infrastructure transformation, and highlight the opportunities presented by the transition to deliver a resilient, low carbon infrastructure network that delivers innovation and unlocks opportunities for growth.

Transport

Transport Forum

This forum will inspire conversations about how to drive forward key zero emission markets for passenger vehicles, commercial fleets and HGVs, connecting relevant stakeholders in order to electrify our roads. Leaders from industry will demonstrate best practices and propose strategies for integrating and implanting a new net zero multimodal mobility system, encouraging partnerships and collaboration to fast-track the decarbonisation of supply chain and development of transport infrastructure.

FMCG & Supply Chain

FMCG & Supply Chain

The purchase of goods and services, waste generated in operations, upstream transport, and distribution all contribute heavily to companies’ Scope 3 emissions across the FMCG sector.

Discussions around decarbonising global supply chain will feature as we tackle foods, beverages, toiletries, cosmetics, and more.
