Steve Scrimshaw is Vice President of Siemens Energy for the UK and Ireland. He's a member of the UK Government's Hydrogen Advisory Council and also sits on the Green Jobs Delivery Group. Siemens Energy provides products, solutions and services across the full energy value chain; including Power Generation, Transmission and Industrial Applications. As the world's energy systems are changing, Siemens Energy is helping customers navigate towards a more sustainable future to reach our global net zero targets. Steve has more than 30 years' experience and began his career as an apprentice in the energy industry. He's a passionate advocate of a 'just energy transition' and believe that sustainable energy is key to delivering energy security, reliability and affordability. Today, he leads the Siemens Energy UK&I business which has over 4,000 employees. Steve joined the Siemens family in 1998 initially in the energy focused business but moved to head up the Siemens Mobility business for almost 10 years. He's led the Siemens Energy business (which carved out from Siemens AG in 2020 to become a separate company) since 2017.
