Steve Kelly is President and General Manager of 1PointFive International.  1PointFive was started by Oxy Low Carbon Ventures with the aim of becoming the leading developer of DAC facilities worldwide.  Steve is responsible for developing 1PointFive’s DAC and CCUS business in international locations including Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Steve has over 37 years of industry experience.  He joined Occidental in 1995 and has held increasingly senior positions in Qatar, Houston and Oman, most recently as President and General Manager of Occidental of Oman, Inc., where he was responsible for all of Oxy’s Oman Operations.  Occidental is the largest independent operator in the Sultanate.  Prior to this role he was President and General Manager of Occidental Petroleum of Qatar Ltd. from 2012 to 2016.  Steve is also a member of the Board of Directors of Dolphin Energy Ltd. and the Board of Trustees of H2Global. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UCL.
