Shaun joined Just Climate in July 2021 as Chief Investment Officer. Previously, Shaun was the founding CEO of the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB), which he ran from 2012 to 2017. Under his leadership, the GIB invested '3.4 billion of public funds, employed 120 professionals and, together with private capital, financed '12 billion of transactions in green infrastructure assets. Prior to the GIB, Shaun was a Partner and responsible for European activities at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, where he helped the firm raise its first private equity fund of over $1 billon AUM. Shaun received a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Ulster. Shaun was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2018 for services to the UK green economy
