Niki Kesharaju
Niki Kesharaju leads on strategy development, influencing policy and stakeholder engagement for heat decarbonisation at National Grid across the residential and industrial sectors. Niki is a Chartered Engineer and in her previous roles in National Grid, she has led thinking and delivery leveraging technology innovation from the start-up ecosystem for various electric networks use cases including decarbonisation and cybersecurity, and she has also progressed the decarbonisation of construction. On heat decarbonisation, Niki is interested in key themes around consumer behaviour and journey on technology selection, and the economic and policy considerations transforming the way we heat our homes and industry technology selection. Niki is also interested in innovation in materials engineering and manufacturing, and in progressing equity, diversity & inclusion.
