Nathan Cooper heads the World Economic Forum's strategic climate partnerships, including driving more ambitious climate action across governments, businesses, and financial institutions. Nathan has been closely involved in global public-private initiatives such as the First Movers Coalition, coordinating a coalition of 13 governments to scale low-carbon technologies. He coordinates the World Economic Forum's approach to intergovernmental processes such as UNFCCC COPs, G7, and G20. Previously, Nathan held a series of posts in the UK Government, including at the Department of Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), and the UK Cabinet Office, where he lead the business and industrial strategy for G7 and UN Climate Change Conference, COP26.
