Luke leads Social’s ESG and impact specialism and the group’s London division. Social is a communications consultancy working both investor-side and sector-side, supporting organisations with how they define, demonstrate, engage and tell their story around environmental, social and governance (ESG), socially responsible investment and purpose-driven finance. Luke currently works with major financial institutions, impact investors, non-profits, FTSE-listed firms and SMEs. He was editor of Social Housing magazine, the finance publication for the affordable housing sector, for seven years. He was also a director at Ocean Media, where he led the launch of a business intelligence platform and worked across a portfolio of conferences, launching Ocean’s first ESG conference. Previous to that he spent two years at emap, working as finance editor at Construction News. His 15-year career in journalism also spanned a number of national and regional newspapers.
