Katrina is Innovate UK Executive Director for Healthy Living and Agriculture, strongly connected with the top leaders in health, food and agriculture sectors, ministers, and other key decisions makers, as well as our partners across UK and overseas government departments. She has accountable for programme delivery and strategic engagement for the Healthy Living and Agriculture domain. In addition, she is the Challenge Director for Transforming Food Production challenge, which is a '90m programme supporting technology and data-driven transformation in UK agriculture. Prior to this, she was the Deputy Director - Global Portfolio responsible for leading on UKRI and Innovate UK's business-led innovation global programs and partnership opportunities. In her previous roles, she has worked for different organisations across the Agri-tech sector including FERA Science, DuPont Pioneer, and the World Economic Forum. Throughout her career, she has worked on the commercialization of technology innovation both from a public and government perspective. Katrina has achieved a PhD in Biosciences, an MSc in Ecology and a BSc in Plant Sciences.
