John joined Telford Homes in 2017 and brings over 16 years' experience working in cross sector sustainability disciplines. John previously served as a Senior Environment and Sustainability Manager at Arriva Group, and before that at VINCI Construction UK Ltd. His role at Arriva included developing the Groups' sustainability strategy, delivering best practise and providing strategic direction for bidding with clients including Department for Transport and Transport for London. At Telford Homes John is responsible for delivering on the company's 2030 roadmap to net zero and implementing the award-winning 'Building a Living Legacy' sustainability strategy, embedding it as a golden thread across all departments. John's experience enables him to take a holistic view of a scheme and is engaged from planning through to post occupancy, striving to ensure that the schemes are demonstrating industry best practise. John is also responsible for corporate reporting and managing the NextGeneration annual sustainability benchmarking submission where Telford Homes are currently ranked as the no.1 sustainable housebuilder in the UK.
