John has over 28 years of experience, spanning every step of the agricultural supply chain, and has worked with every commercial poultry producer within the United Kingdom and Ireland. John combines expertise and passion on the welfare and management of chickens with an in-depth understanding of the wider poultry sector. This saw John win the Poultry Supply Chain Champion award at the 2018 British Poultry Awards. John has led Nando's efforts to increase the sustainability and resilience of its poultry supply chain in the UK and Ireland. John is eager to drive industry-wide change and has helped lead the global conversation by meeting with companies and speaking at conferences across the world. John is particularly interested in realising the potential of alternative-protein feeds to reduce the environmental impact of rearing chickens and leads Nando's work in this space.
