Harry began his career working in wealth management following an undergraduate degree in geography. It was during this time he became frustrated there was no credible investment that would provide both a financial return and a positive climate impact. Treeconomy was born through Harry's frustration at a lack of opportunities to harness global markets to invest in nature and the lack of technology and transparency being used in the carbon markets. Wanting to pursue the thesis that you could build an investment portfolio around nature, Harry left wealth management to pursue a masters degree in Climate Change, Finance and Management at Imperial College London. It was during this time he founded Treeconomy, and met his co-founder Rob. Harry is unwavering about connecting nature restoration with positive financial outcomes.
