Drew Bond is a mission-driven entrepreneur, public policy and thought leader on energy innovation. Bond has decades of experience at the highest levels in business, in government, educational nonprofits, and leading startups.

Drew is Co-founder, Chairman & CEO of PowerField, a solar racking company that dramatically simplifies solar installations at any scale. He is also Co-founder, Chairman & CEO of C3 Solutions, a nonprofit public policy educational organization dedicated to accelerating energy innovation and expanding economic freedom to address our world’s greatest climate, energy and environment challenges. C3 Solutions also operates an online newsmagazine called C3 (www.c3newsmag.com).

He previously led in2lytics, a data analytics company providing grid resiliency software and services to electricity utilities; Versa, a Battelle spinout company with a patented waste-to-energy technology company; and Townhall.com, an online media company dedicated to free-market ideas.

In 2007, Drew was appointed by President George W. Bush as the Senior Advisor for Technology Commercialization at the U.S. Department of Energy, specifically focused on renewable and energy efficient technologies and the national laboratories. His team worked closely with investors, entrepreneurs, investors and companies to accelerate innovation.

His policy and management experience includes serving as Vice President at Battelle for Energy & Environment Technology Commercialization and Public Policy; Senior Fellow and Director of Energy Innovation Policy at the American Council for Capital Formation; Chief of Staff at The Heritage Foundation, Chief of Staff at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission; and Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Don Nickles of Oklahoma.

Drew serves on the Board of Directors of Group NIRE, a technology testing, demonstration and commercialization company based in Lubbock, TX; and the Institute for Responsible Citizenship, a nonprofit educational organization focused on inspiring and equipping African American college-aged men to use their extraordinary talents to serve others.

Drew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Oklahoma and Executive Education in Finance from the Wharton School of Business.

He and his wife are blessed with six children, serve as foster parents, are active in their church and community. He enjoys traveling with family, hiking, tennis, golf, CrossFit, and playing cards.
