Sarah Gaunt is the founder of SPG Innovation which specialises in sustainable nutrition R&D and consultancy. With food grade facilties in Nottingham, her team of food scientists and chefs are working together to create healthy foods and ingredients which met the trends of today without impacting the future of the planet. In the past 18 months she has founded Rootiful, a plant based food brand creating foods and ingredients from British grown crops and by-products of the food industry. The mission of this company is to reduce the environmental impact of our foods by creating localised solutions reducing monocropping, improve health by widening the plant based protein crops consumed and ensure they taste great.
