Dr. Olivia Ahn is co-founder of Fluus. Fluus was created to remove permanent waste from your bathroom and our planet with microplastic-free, flushable period products. Olivia trained at Imperial College London as a doctor and founded Fluus in her final year at Imperial with her co-founder Aaron Koshy, a biomedical and design engineer. Olivia worked in the NHS for 2 years as she continued to develop Flushtec - the material technology behind Fluus' flushable pads. In 2019, Olivia went full-time into Fluus and since then, has been the inventor behind 2 global patent families, awarded the Natwest Chairman's Award, London Mayor's Entrepreneur, MSDUK's Innovator of the Year and raised over $12 million in funding for Fluus. Olivia is passionate about refocusing the conversation of the burden of sustainability away from the shoulders of the individual consumer and back in the hands of the corporations designing, developing and selling the products that make permanent waste.
