Dr Mike Burgass is Co-Founder and Director of Biodiversify, a boutique mission-led consultancy that helps clients from a wide range of sectors improve their relationship with nature. Biodiversify specialise in cutting-edge analytics for biodiversity assessment, including through complex supply chains as well organisational strategies for nature. Mike has led Biodiversify's input on the Science Based Targets for Nature and Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures and guiding global sustainability leaders such as Kering and Tetra Pak through these processes. He has 15 years of experience in biodiversity across business, academia and NGOs and holds a PhD in Conservation Science from Imperial College London. He is also a trustee for Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Conservation Optimism. Most recently Biodiversify's R&D and experience is being used to spin out a new nature tech start up, Nature Search, with leading players from the UK fintech space - with the aim to be the leading platform for end to end, sustainable, cost effective investment in nature.
