Leo, Managing Director of Descycle, is a finance professional with over a decade of experience in the natural resources industry, having deployed over US$3 billion, as a corporate finance practitioner and director of junior mining companies. As Managing Director of advisory firm Medea Natural Resources Leo has worked on a broad range of projects covering precious and base metals and has extensive expertise in equity, debt, mergers & acquisitions and principal investing. Recently he was a non-executive director of Tesoro Resources (ASX:TSO) which discovered the El Zorro gold project in Chile. Leo was also an Associate Director for German investment bank, WestLB AG in London, working as an originator in the structured commodity finance team. Leonidas holds a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK.
