David Richardson is Head of Innovation for the Ofgem Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) at Innovate UK. The SIF is a £450m fund supporting gas and electricity network innovation that will unlock net zero energy systems, deliver benefits to energy consumers, and create business opportunities.

David has particular interests in whole system approaches to solving complex energy challenges, data and digitalisation of energy, and the role of energy utilities in creating a cleaner, fairer and more resilient future for people and society.
