Cindy Demichel is CEO and Co-Founder of Celsius Energy, a start-up offering a sustainable means of heating and cooling buildings with geo-energy. By connecting buildings to the Earth, CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 90% and operational costs lowered by up to 40%. Celsius Energy is part of SLB New Energy, where Cindy has worked since 2004. She joined the organisation as a geologist and then went on to hold several positions, including a role in the R&D management team. In 2017, with her 2 co-founders, she boldly decided to maximise on the technical expertise and industrial know-how of SLB to found Celsius Energy and so contribute to the fight against climate change.
