Baroness Natalie Bennett
Natalie Bennett, (or Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle for really formal occasions), entered the House of Lords in 2019, the second Green peer, after being Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales from 2012 to 2016. Natalie studied agriculture at the University of Sydney and is a long time campaigner and writer on food, agriculture and the climate emergency.
Her forthcoming book, Change Everything: How to Rethink, Repair and Rebuild Society, puts public health at its heart, particularly reforming our food system away from ultra-processed food-like substances towards far more vegetables and fruit, and sets out the multiple reasons we must end factory farming.
