Asher Bennett, Founder and CEO of Tevva Hydrogen-Electric Trucks, is an experienced clean mobility entrepreneur. Asher founded Tevva in 2013 to address the range challenges of large commercial electric vehicles and create technology solutions to decarbonise trucks. Asher's particular focus is on innovation and strategic growth. Tevva's latest dual-energy truck combines lithium-ion batteries with a hydrogen fuel-cell range-extender, creating a zero-emission solution that lowers climate impact and decarbonise HGVs across medium-to-heavy-duty truck segments. Tevva recently received European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval and has started full-scale production of its 7.5t (class 5) battery-electric truck. Prior to Tevva, Asher founded Evida. Inc. a developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion battery systems for electric cars and buses. Asher is a former submarine naval officer (his first EV!), graduated first in class from the Israeli Naval Academy and has an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.
