Angie Burnett
Angie is a Programme Director at the Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA) where she is leading a programme in Synthetic Plants. Angie is a plant biologist by training and has spent the last decade focusing on understanding the power of plants to solve some of our most pressing challenges such as food insecurity, climate change and environmental degradation. Previously, Angie was a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory and a Consultant at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
