Andrew is a consultant specialising in the waste and energy sectors. He has been involved in CCUS since the Government's first 'Demo 1' competition in 2008 and, more recently, authored a study on the development pathway for CCUS in the energy from waste sector. Whilst recognising the significant potential benefits of CCUS, Andrew is of the belief that CCUS needs to be applied appropriately so as not to 'lock in' fossil fuel use. This requires an acceleration of efforts to seek out genuine circular economy business models.
