With a background in industrial engineering and management, André started his career as a production engineer for Bertelsmann. Despite feeling quite comfortable on a shopfloor, he realized that sustainability was his passion and therefore transitioned into the field looking at the the technical side of the topic with an additional engineering degree in energy and environmental resources. Subsequently, he embarked on commercial and go-to-market roles, e.g. scaling the sales side of Berlin climate-tech player planetly. Currently, André oversees the commercial side of CEEZER, the leading platform to screen, purchase, and manage negative emissions.
