Samira Nikzad is an accomplished Projects Director with extensive experience in delivering mission-critical infrastructure across the EMEA, APAC and GCC regions, specialising in hyperscale data centres and other critical facilities. Over a career spanning more than 15 years, she has successfully directed high-value projects exceeding £9 billion, including advanced AI data centre developments, sovereign national data centres, and large-scale MEP fit-outs.

In her current role as Director of Project Development at DataVolt in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Samira leads strategic site selection, portfolio optimisation, sustainability integration, and regulatory engagement to meet the requirements of hyperscale and enterprise clients. Her expertise extends to capital investment strategy, risk mitigation, financial structuring, and embedding technological innovation to ensure infrastructure is future ready.

She has also held senior leadership positions overseeing projects across Europe, Asia, and with CGG, managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex turnkey and infrastructure upgrade schemes to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

Holding degrees in Architectural Engineering (BEng), Energy Efficiency and Environmental Design (MSc), and an MBA in Project Management, together with multiple specialist certifications, Samira is recognised for her commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and commitment to resilient, sustainable, high-performing facilities.
