Aviation plays a critical role in MENA’s economy, but decarbonizing air travel requires investment in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and LCAFs such as hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and synthetic hydrocarbons, plus efficiency upgrades. This session will discuss the technical challenges, infrastructure needs, and regulatory shifts required to scale sustainable aviation in the region.
