WEALTH GENERATION IN THE SUSTAINABLE BLUE ECONOMY

The worldwide ocean economy is valued at around $1.5 trillion per year, making it the seventh largest economy in the world, and is set to double by 2030. Harnessing the oceans' vast resources to generate economic growth, whilst maintaining the principles of social equity and ocean stewardship is one of the most critical issues we face. Panellists will discuss how we can scale innovation and local economies, while at the same time protecting and developing our blue resources and the communities who support them.
