How do we consider the entire energy system as an interconnected and interdependent network, rather than focusing on individual components in isolation? How do we consider interactions between different energy sectors – including electricity, heating, cooling, and transportation? And how do we evaluate the environmental impact of energy systems throughout their entire lifecycle, and engage all relevant stakeholders, including government, businesses, and the public?
