The rapid acceleration of the energy transition is creating millions of new job opportunities for technicians, engineers, software developers and scientists – roles critical to developing, deploying and maintaining emerging energy technologies.

However, the demand for green skills is outpacing the available workforce, posing a major challenge to the clean energy transition. As the skills gap threatens to slow down the shift towards a net zero economy, what strategic actions should governments and industry leaders take to ensure the future workforce is equipped to meet the labour demands of this evolving sector?
