The IEA called for a doubling of nuclear energy production between 2020 and 2050 in its Net Zero by 2050 report, and the UK’s Net Zero Strategy similarly reinforced the importance of nuclear in the net zero transformation.

One year on from the launch of Great British Nuclear (GBN) hear the latest innovations in fusion technologies and Small Modular Reactors and the R&D programmes underway to deliver Advanced Modular Reactors. Panellists will also discuss the public sentiments towards nuclear and the cost/return profiles in scaling nuclear.
