According to McKinsey, by 2030 NBS projects like forestation and soil carbon sequestration could contribute to over 15% of the world’s annual emissions reduction. On the other hand, renewable energy is scaling at an unprecedented level, with global solar capacity expected to grow by 600 gigawatts in 2024.
