NEW PERSPECTIVES ON ENERGY AND CLIMATE MONITORING: HIGH-RESOLUTION THERMAL IMAGERY FROM SPACE

SatVu captures the highest resolution thermal data from space for a safer and more sustainable earth. The images and short video captured by SatVu’s first satellite, HotSat-1, show heat variations across the surface of the earth at a resolution of up to 3.5 m, both during the day and at night.

Using data captured by HotSat-1, SatVu will showcase how high-resolution thermal data can be used to monitor activity and output across energy infrastructure, including tracking solar farm efficiency. SatVu will also explain how they can help governments, city leaders, non-governmental organisations and communities to monitor urban heat and environmental change.
