Microsol is a french-peruvian social business that was founded in 2008 to provide clean energy solutions to rural communities of Central and Latin America. The idea behind Microsol is to improve the quality of life of these rural communities while fighting climate change. We use carbon finance mechanisms to finance the implementation, maintenance and sustainability over time of Improved Cookstove Programmes (ICS) that reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere and generate environmental and social benefits for local communities.
