Johan Eliasch is the 5th President of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation FIS and the former Special Representative of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on Deforestation and Clean Energy. He is the Chairman of the global sporting goods group HEAD and the investment group ECJ Holdings, Chairman of the Saatchi Gallery, President of the Global Strategy Forum, Founder of the Rainforest Trust which owns and preserves 1,600 square kilometres of rainforest in the Amazonas, author of the 'Eliasch Review: Financing Global Forests' He is a member of the advisory board of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, and a director of the Foundation for Renewable Energy and Environment. He chaired the HM Treasury Net Zero Review Technology and Innovation Advisory Group, the RUSI Food, Energy and Water Security Program, and was a member of the Council for Sustainable Business, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the international advisory board of the Stockholm Resilience Centre. He was a trustee of the Kew Foundation, Royal Botanical Society. He is a co-founder and President of Cool Earth, a charitable foundation which has conserved over 1 million hectares of rainforest and manages the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy in 54 countries and the Queen's Green Canopy celebrating her reign.
