Adrian has been at the forefront of sustainable finance for the last 16 years. As Director, Sustainable Finance at LSEG he works with the Group's Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses to define and implement their sustainable finance strategy as part of LSEG's support for the global transition to a sustainable, low carbon economy. Adrian established ABN AMRO's Environmental Markets business in 2006, creating one of the first integrated sustainable finance offerings in the investment banking sector and later supported renewable energy and cleantech clients as a Director in RBS' corporate finance team. As CEO of international certification body Gold Standard, Adrian led the development of carbon markets and impact finance models for deploying clean technologies, sustainable land-use, water access and the delivery of Sustainable Development Goals. As a Partner at FGS Global, one of the world's largest strategic communication agencies, he worked with many of the firm's largest clients to define and then gain stakeholder engagement with their sustainable business and ESG strategies. Adrian has worked with LSEG to scale-up sustainable finance across London Stock Exchange Group's Capital Markets, from education on best practice in ESG and climate disclosure, to financing the transition and scaling Green Economy companies and funds. He was part of the team that recently launched LSEG's Voluntary Carbon Market. Adrian is also a Non-Executive Director of Evora Global, a leading sustainable real-estate advisor and software business.
