With a background in professional sports & graphic design, Westley had a unique entry point into the world of the Built Environment. Westley spent the early years of his career development focusing on HVAC illustration and network integration of Building Energy Management Systems which has proven to be solid foundations to build upon. Joining Schneider Electric in 2008, Westley continued to develop his knowledge and passion for making buildings more efficient & intelligent by progressing into the commercial side of the industry where he worked on solution prescription and sales. Team leadership has been a core responsibility during his role as Digital Buildings Director, nurturing team members and helping customers reach their sustainability goals. Now Westley leads the Commercial Real Estate Segment for Europe at Schneider Electric, where he is developing Smart Building Solutions for. Leveraging the expertise of his team, he is systematically generating a positive impact on the climate crisis through building-specific interventions.
