Wessel is an Operating Partner at PATRIZIA-Infrastructure and leads the ongoing asset management of its investee companies in Europe.

He has worked for over 25 years in leading roles in both mature and emerging markets across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has strong managerial and investment experience in all segments of the infrastructure market, including logistics, midstream, energy, digital and social infrastructure sectors where he has been responsible for transacting, value creation and realization of many of PATRIZIA-Infrastructure’s direct equity investments.

Wessel currently serves as a director on the board of several of PATRIZIA’s investee companies, including Corymbia, Kinland, Vopak Terminal Eemshaven, SAREN Energy and the Smart City Infrastructure Fund.

Wessel is fluent in English, German, Dutch and Swedish. He holds a MSc in Economics from Maastricht University and is an IoD certified director (CertIOD).
