Wayne Davies is Head of Flexibility for the UK and Ireland at Enel X, where he leads the strategic development, market access, and optimisation of demand side response and distributed energy solutions across industrial and commercial customers accountable for the performance and growth of Enel X’s flexibility business, overseeing more than 750 MW of B2B customer assets actively participating in flexibility markets across the UK and Ireland.

Wayne shapes product strategy, drives portfolio optimisation, and manages market and operational risk, ensuring the delivery of reliable and scalable flexibility solutions that support grid stability and decarbonisation. He leads the Flexibility team, building high performing capabilities while fostering strong customer and partner relationships across the value chain.

He brings over 20 years of international experience across energy markets and flexibility programmes, having played a key role in building and scaling Enel X’s market leading flexibility capabilities across multiple asset classes.
