Steven has a technical background grounded in 15 years of working across two different DNOs, with roles spanning electrical planning, innovation, digital and DSO. This is augmented with time in consultancy, focused on digital, working on several influential projects such as Virtual Energy System, Digital Spine and Flexibility Markets Unlocked.

In his role of Head of Flexibility at Elexon, he set up Market Facilitator and its ongoing operation, alongside oversight of supporting digital activities such as Flexibility Market Asset Register (FMAR) and Data Domain Coordinator. He is driving forward flexibility markets and the required digital enablers as a whole, providing strategic leadership enabling Clean Power 2030 and Net Zero targets to be met.
