Aaron is a Professor of Building Decarbonisation. His academic background covers engineering, physics, and energy policy. His research centres on the links between technical and policy solutions to improving the existing building stock. He has led a range of research projects spanning heat pump development, heat networks, building physics, policy design, and retrofit market transformation strategies. For the past three years he was head of the BSRIA LSBU Net Zero Building Centre, focused on accelerating decarbonisation in the built environment.
