Kerry McCarthy is the Labour MP for Bristol East and has been serving as Labour's Shadow Minister for Climate Change since June 2022, working in Ed Miliband’s Shadow Energy, Security, and Net Zero team. She has also previously served as Labour's Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Shadow Minister for Green Transport, and was first elected in 2005.
