Katherine Foster
Katherine Foster, a former Canadian diplomat who served as the Climate Attachée to the USA and on Kofi Annan’s Human Security Network, has been pioneering innovation at the intersection of technology, policy, and finance for 30 years.
Katherine serves on the EIT food Supervisory Board, as a Capitals Coalition Value Commissioner and as an advisor to Nexus Climate.
She has held leadership roles with Europe’s Climate Flagship Initiative Climate-KIC and served as Executive Director of the Green Digital Finance Alliance including as Sherpa to the UN Secretary-General's Task Force on Digital Financing of the SDG.
Katherine's contributions extend to the Bank of International Settlement Project Genesis, the World Bank Blockchain for Carbon Markets Pilot, the UNFCCC Global Innovation Hub and the COP28UAE TechSprint. She is a published thought leader and advisor to award winning startups and to acceleration and investment initiatives.
