Joe is UK Networks Lead at Built by Nature, a network and grant-making fund with a mission to increase the use of timber and biobased materials in construction. Prior to this he was a Project Director of the Timber Accelerator Hub at the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products. Joe is a qualified architect and recently held a position as Associate Lecturer in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University, tutoring on a undergraduate design unit focused on plant-based buildings. He has written for The Architects Journal, Dezeen, Building Design & The Architectural Review.
