An award-winning journalist and editor, he is one of the UK's leading commentators on the net zero transition and green economy, featuring frequently on radio and television, as well as industry events. He writes daily on a wide range of green business issues, with a particular focus on net zero policy and politics, economics, investment, and technology. He also produces BusinessGreen's Overnight Briefing newsletter, which is a must-read for senior executives and decision-makers across the green economy. He was named Editor of the Year at the Aviva Sustainability Media Awards in 2022 and Digital Editor of the Year at the annual Association of Online Publishers Awards in 2020. Prior to launching BusinessGreen James spent five years as a technology journalist working on a variety of IT titles.
