Izzy Woolgar is Director, Data Centre Energy at Octopus Energy. Octopus is taking its global expertise in grids, flexibility and optimisation to energy intensive users, working with data centre operators to accelerate speed to power, provide competitive, clean power, all whilst delivering community benefits at the same time where possible.

Izzy previously served as Director of External Affairs at Centre for Net Zero (CNZ), a research institute advancing tech-driven energy systems that benefit humanity. A specialist in strategic communications, she previously advised global tech and energy blue chips - working with Centrica and bp's corporate venturing teams to build global investment pipelines and spotlight their green tech portfolios. Izzy holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge.
