Hessam Lavi is co-founder and CEO of Climatiq, the carbon intelligence platform for reliable carbon emissions data. Climatiq provides scientifically-vetted data and tools that remove the complexity from carbon accounting and PCF calculations.

Climatiq has been named a Gartner Cool Vendor, recognised by Verdantix in their Green Quadrant, and ranked in the top 10 of Sifted's DACH & CEE 100 fastest-growing startups for 2025 — establishing itself as the emissions data infrastructure layer for global platforms including IFS, Celonis, and Salesforce.

Before Climatiq, Hessam founded Jobspotting, an AI-driven job matching platform acquired by SmartRecruiters in 2017, and led Search Quality teams at Google. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Lund University.
