Dr Gbemi Oluleye is Lecturer, Consultant and thought leader in applying systems thinking and holistic approaches to accelerate the commercialisation of deep decarbonisation solutions and deliver cost-effective, resilient sustainability strategies. With a unique blend of expertise in engineering, economics, policy, and finance, she delivers convergence solutions to the economic barriers preventing the transition to a sustainable future. She is the founder of the Market Interventions for Deep Decarbonisation (MIDD-Lab) at Imperial College London. The work we do at MIDD-Lab supports the creation and quantification of market-based mechanisms that can be used under Article 6.2 (bilateral and multilateral cooperative approaches) and Article 6.4 (the UN-supervised global carbon market).
