Beverley Gower-Jones OBE
Beverley Gower-Jones is Managing Partner of Clean Growth Fund (2020), a climate-first venture capital fund investing in UK based innovation with the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. She is also CEO of Carbon Limiting Technologies (2006), an incubation consultancy for early stage cleantech SMEs.
Beverley is a thought leader in early stage cleantech investments and commercialisation, and specialises in accelerating innovation to market and scaling businesses. Her ambition is to create a better, more sustainable world and she firmly believes that this will be achieved through innovation playing a transformative role in the global economy. In 2023, Beverley was bestowed an OBE by His Majesty The King (Charles III) for services to Net Zero innovation and was awarded Net Zero Leader of the Year at the Edie Awards. Beverley is an independent member of the cross-government Net Zero Innovation Board chaired by the chief science advisor, Dame Angela McClean. In her early career, she was a founder and Vice President of Shell Technology Ventures and was instrumental in Shell’s technology venturing strategy. With over 30 years’ experience in the international energy sector, Beverley is a Fellow of the Energy Institute. She holds a BSc in Mining Geology, from University College Cardiff.
