Ben leads engineering at Kaluza's Flexibility Platform, a distributed energy resource (DER) management solution that enables utilities to quickly design, launch, and scale demand response programs, managed EV charging, virtual power plants, and home energy management solutions.

Before joining Kaluza, Ben was CTO and co-founder of VCA Technology, an embedded computer vision company, where he led the development of real-time video analysis algorithms for automated people and vehicle tracking in the security and retail sectors.

He is a Chartered Engineer and holds over ten patents in the field of computer vision.
