Angela McKane is a Partner at Colbridge Ventures, a UK headquartered advisory firm for environmental impact startups. Angela works with early-stage startups on all commercial aspects of growth, and with a particular focus on industrial decarbonization and the energy and transport sectors. Prior to joining Colbridge, Angela held senior positions in the oil and gas industry, including as Vice President of Technology Insights for bp based in London. Angela is a columnist for Oilwoman Magazine where she interviews Founders and Entrepreneurs who are also disabled or managing chronic health conditions, in some cases those that are life-threatening or life-limiting. These interviews show that as humans it is possible to develop and hone our skills of grit and resilience to meet significant challenges and that these are valuable skills for those leading startup companies too.
