Andrew Wordsworth is a Founder and Managing Partner of Sustainable Ventures. Andrew has been in the early-stage climate change sector for over 20 years having joined the Carbon Trust in 2002 where he was Managing Director of their commercial arm, Carbon Trust Enterprises. Previous roles included strategy consulting at Bain & Company following an initial career as a Chemical Engineer at Esso Petroleum. Sustainable Ventures was founded in 2011 to accelerate the development of the climate tech sector in the UK. Over this period the company has become a central part of the UK's growing net zero innovation ecosystem and created Europe's largest cluster of sustainability and climate tech startups/scaleups centred around our London workspace in old County Hall.
